  The album, produced and arranged by Claudio Donato and Orlando Johnson, is the offshoot of a definite concept to join the groove and the sound that gave fame to the label with Orlando's voice.
  
  Orlando, born in the North Carolina, started his career very early, and recorded his first records with the soul group "the Upsetters". In the seventies he started to work in Italy and when dance music began to reign, the LP “Turn The Music On”, produced by Full Time Production, reached the USA charts as well, thanks of the remix of the DJ and producer, Jelly Bean Benitez.
  
  "Funky Time" is the fine review of Orlando Johnson exciting career. The album moves from songs typically funky reaching a sound that goes more into disco, and house music, melting wisely the historic releases of the label, such as Kano’s “Dance School” and “Can’t Hold Back” and Rainbow Team’s “Dreamin” among the others.
  
  The result are eight tracks that could bring to the listener into the hottest soulful atmospheres.
